It achieved a price of GBP 38,400.00 (€ 44,235.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cyril Power - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14), which sold at auction in March 2015 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 95,050.51).

Die Arbeit Whence & Whither? von Cyril Power wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 38.400,00 (€ 44.235,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Für andere Arbeiten von Cyril Power mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) beobachtet, die im März 2015 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 95.050,51) versteigert wurde.
