Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in London held the auction The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde, which included the work Skaters by Cyril Power. The price achieved of GBP 11,520.00 (€ 13,270.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cyril Power have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 95,050.51).
