The work Air Raid by Cyril Power was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December this year. It achieved a price of GBP 48,640.00 (€ 56,031.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 62%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Cyril Power; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) sold at auction in March 2015 with the realized price of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 95,050.51).

Die Arbeit Air Raid von Cyril Power kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 48.640,00 (€ 56.031,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 62%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Cyril Power; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) im März 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 95.050,51).
