A top price for Cyril Boler - as previously expected
The work Road to the Coast by Cyril Boler was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 446.50 (€ 699.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Road to the Coast is the most expensive artwork by Cyril Boler that we have observed at auctions so far.
