Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2002 Christies in London held the auction THE IRISH SALE, which included the work San Ambrosio, Gubbio by Cyril Boler. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 317.25 (€ 496.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Cyril Boler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2002 the work Road to the Coast was auctioned for GBP 446.50 (€ 699.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion THE IRISH SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit San Ambrosio, Gubbio von Cyril Boler zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 317,25 (€ 496,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Cyril Boler konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2002 die Arbeit Road to the Coast für GBP 446,50 (€ 699,23) versteigert.
