Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Cyril Boler could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures including Pictures auction, the work Conception of a straight line; and Impression changed hands for GBP 352.50 (€ 576.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Other works by Cyril Boler have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2002 by the work Road to the Coast at GBP 446.50 (€ 699.23).
