Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Tooth) by Cyprien Gaillard was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 22,680.00 (€ 25,318.53). Admittedly, works by Cyprien Gaillard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 193,750.00 (€ 183,440.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Tooth) von Cyprien Gaillard wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 22.680,00 (€ 25.318,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cyprien Gaillard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 193.750,00 (€ 183.440,64).
