In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction The Philosophy of Gordon Watson: Collecting Contemporary Art, Silver and Design, which included the work A 'Raindrops' Large Wall Sculpture, Dated 1973 by Curtis Jere. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,511.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A 'Raindrops' Large Wall Sculpture, Dated 1973 is the most expensive artwork by Curtis Jere that we have observed at auctions so far.
