Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled #2 by Cui Jie was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 52,920.00 (€ 5,581.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cui Jie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kunming Long-distance Telecom Hub Building in May this year with an auction result of HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 143,473.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled #2 von Cui Jie wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 52.920,00 (€ 5.581,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cui Jie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kunming Long-distance Telecom Hub Building im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 143.473,72).
