The work Guard Room by Cui Jie was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,923.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cui Jie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kunming Long-distance Telecom Hub Building in May this year with an auction result of HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 143,473.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Guard Room von Cui Jie kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.923,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cui Jie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kunming Long-distance Telecom Hub Building im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 143.473,72).
