Upper estimate price exceeded by 28 %.
In June this year Bonhams held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Pink Crucifixion by Craigie Aitchison. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,979.40), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Craigie Aitchison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nandi Bull in Front of Temple III in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 138,600.00 (€ 162,729.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pink Crucifixion von Craigie Aitchison zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.560,00 (€ 2.979,40) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Craigie Aitchison erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nandi Bull in Front of Temple III im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 138.600,00 (€ 162.729,44).
