Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Craigie Aitchison achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in June this year. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Lemon And Birds sold for GBP 1,536.00 (€ 1,787.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Craigie Aitchison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nandi Bull in Front of Temple III in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 138,600.00 (€ 162,729.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Craigie Aitchison erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wurde die Arbeit Lemon And Birds für GBP 1.536,00 (€ 1.787,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Craigie Aitchison erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nandi Bull in Front of Temple III im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 138.600,00 (€ 162.729,44).
