Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Soda Syphon, 2003 by Craigie Horsfield for USD 437.50 (€ 334.76). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Craigie Horsfield achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Casa Comalat, Avinguda Diagonal, Barcelona, December 1995 in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,714.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Soda Syphon, 2003 von Craigie Horsfield für USD 437,50 (€ 334,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Craigie Horsfield erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Casa Comalat, Avinguda Diagonal, Barcelona, December 1995 im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.714,56).
