Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2016 Christies in London held the auction First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London, which included the work The Three Kings by Cosima von Bonin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,057.79). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cosima von Bonin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work GEORGE, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 62,534.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Three Kings von Cosima von Bonin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 26.057,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Cosima von Bonin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit GEORGE beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 62.534,11) versteigert wurde.
