Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage Italianisant Animé De Personnages by Cornelis van Poelenburgh was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2014. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cornelis van Poelenburgh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-portrait in January 2021 with an auction result of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 113,990.80).

Die Arbeit Paysage Italianisant Animé De Personnages von Cornelis van Poelenburgh kam im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
