The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,283.81) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis van Poelenburgh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-portrait in January 2021 with an auction result of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 113,990.80).
