Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis van Poelenburgh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-portrait in January 2021 with an auction result of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 113,990.80).

Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis van Poelenburgh erzielen.
