Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A surrealistic still life by Cornelius Postma was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. The price achieved of EUR 840.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 700.00 – 900.00. Other works by Cornelius Postma have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2006 the work Deux Moineaux was auctioned for EUR 1,560.00.
