Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures, which included the work Still life with blow torch by Cornelius Postma. The price achieved of GBP 456.00 (€ 671.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelius Postma - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Deux Moineaux, which sold at auction in April 2006 for EUR 1,560.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with blow torch von Cornelius Postma zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 456,00 (€ 671,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Cornelius Postma mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Deux Moineaux beobachtet, die im April 2006 für EUR 1.560,00 versteigert wurde.
