In June 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES, which included the work Bread in a hilly landscape by Cornelius Postma. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,195.00 33% above the upper estimate. Other works by Cornelius Postma have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 1,560.00 in April 2006 for the work Deux Moineaux.

Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bread in a hilly landscape von Cornelius Postma zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.195,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Cornelius Postma haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.560,00 im April 2006 für die Arbeit Deux Moineaux beobachtet.
