The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 337,000.00 (€ 227,073.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Still Life With Peonies, Roses, Irises, Poppies And A Tulip With Butterflies, A Dragonfly And Other Insects On A Ledge is the most expensive artwork by Cornelis Kick that we have observed at auctions so far.
