The work A fruit garland with grapes, peaches, mandarins, cherries, pears and other fruit, with butterflies and a sunflower by Cornelis Kick was sold in the European Noble and Private Collections auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2009. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Kick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Peonies, Roses, Irises, Poppies And A Tulip With Butterflies, A Dragonfly And Other Insects On A Ledge in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 337,000.00 (€ 227,073.65).

Die Arbeit A fruit garland with grapes, peaches, mandarins, cherries, pears and other fruit, with butterflies and a sunflower von Cornelis Kick wurde im Dezember 2009 in der Auktion European Noble and Private Collections bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Peonies, Roses, Irises, Poppies And A Tulip With Butterflies, A Dragonfly And Other Insects On A Ledge im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 337.000,00 (€ 227.073,65).
