In April 2013 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & British Paintings, which included the work Roses, Poppies, Hollyhocks, A Marigold And Other Flowers In A Glass Jug, With A Dragonfly And A Cabbage White Butterfly On A Stone Ledge by Cornelis Kick. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,375.36), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Kick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Peonies, Roses, Irises, Poppies And A Tulip With Butterflies, A Dragonfly And Other Insects On A Ledge in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 337,000.00 (€ 227,073.65).

Im April 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roses, Poppies, Hollyhocks, A Marigold And Other Flowers In A Glass Jug, With A Dragonfly And A Cabbage White Butterfly On A Stone Ledge von Cornelis Kick zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.375,36) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Kick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Peonies, Roses, Irises, Poppies And A Tulip With Butterflies, A Dragonfly And Other Insects On A Ledge im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 337.000,00 (€ 227.073,65).
