Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2015 Koller held the auction Gemälde (West), which included the work Trompe-l'oeils mit Flinte und drei Vögeln. by Cornelis Biltius. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 4,125.00 (€ 3,781.31) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Biltius achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair Of Trompe L'Œil Game Larder Still Lifes: With A Hare, Partridge, Snipe, Turkey, Pike, Eel And Fish, With A Parrot; And With Pigeons, A Hare, Calf'S Head, Asparagus, Lobster And Trout, With A Hawk And A Plover in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 70,912.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2015 führte Koller die Auktion Gemälde (West) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trompe-l'oeils mit Flinte und drei Vögeln. von Cornelis Biltius zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 4.125,00 (€ 3.781,31) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Biltius erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Pair Of Trompe L'Œil Game Larder Still Lifes: With A Hare, Partridge, Snipe, Turkey, Pike, Eel And Fish, With A Parrot; And With Pigeons, A Hare, Calf'S Head, Asparagus, Lobster And Trout, With A Hawk And A Plover im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 70.912,98).
