Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Constant was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme Oiseau in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 432,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Constant wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 25.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme Oiseau im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 432.750,00.
