The work Moeder En Kind Iii (Mother And Child Iii) by Constant was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2018. The result of EUR 5,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme Oiseau in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 432,750.00.

Die Arbeit Moeder En Kind Iii (Mother And Child Iii) von Constant wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme Oiseau im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 432.750,00.
