Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Gewonde Duif (Wounded Pigeon) by Constant. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 16,250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme Oiseau in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 432,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gewonde Duif (Wounded Pigeon) von Constant zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 16.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme Oiseau im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 432.750,00.
