Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2005 Christies in London held the auction IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN ART, which included the work Deux Arbres by Constant Montald. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,973.29). Admittedly, works by Constant Montald have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jardin sous la neige in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Deux Arbres von Constant Montald zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.973,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constant Montald auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jardin sous la neige im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
