This artwork by Constant Montald achieved an unexpectedly high price at Lempertz in Cologne in July 2021. In the The Exceptional Bernard De Leye Collection auction, the work Badende Nymphen sold for EUR 13,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Constant Montald; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Jardin sous la neige sold at auction in June 2018 with the realized price of EUR 25,000.00.

In der Auktion The Exceptional Bernard De Leye Collection wurde die Arbeit Badende Nymphen für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Constant Montald; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Jardin sous la neige im Juni 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 25.000,00.
