In the 19th Century Paintings including Spanish Painting and Symbolism & the Poetic Vision auction, the work Belgian La Baignade changed hands for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,503.23) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Constant Montald have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2018 by the work Jardin sous la neige at EUR 25,000.00.
