Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Conroy Maddox achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March 2021. In the The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale auction, the work Condottiere sold for GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,691.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Conroy Maddox have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poltergeist in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 56,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Conroy Maddox erzielte im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale wurde die Arbeit Condottiere für GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.691,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Conroy Maddox auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poltergeist im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 56.250,00.
