The work Owens Valley by Conrad Buff was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,320.00 (€ 7,675.98), 39% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Conrad Buff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Canyon Walls, Zion National Park, Utah, which sold at auction in April last year for USD 16,575.00 (€ 15,730.28).

Die Arbeit Owens Valley von Conrad Buff wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.320,00 (€ 7.675,98) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Conrad Buff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Canyon Walls, Zion National Park, Utah beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für USD 16.575,00 (€ 15.730,28) versteigert wurde.
