It achieved a price of USD 2,176.00 (€ 1,994.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45%. Admittedly, works by Conrad Buff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Canyon Walls, Zion National Park, Utah in April last year with an auction result of USD 16,575.00 (€ 15,730.28).

Die Arbeit Landscape with Chaparral Yucca 20 x 16 in. framed 27 x 23 in. von Conrad Buff wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.176,00 (€ 1.994,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Conrad Buff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Canyon Walls, Zion National Park, Utah im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.575,00 (€ 15.730,28).
