Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Canyon, Plains, and Mountains by Conrad Buff for USD 510.00 (€ 481.04). This price was achieved in the auction Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conrad Buff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Canyon Walls, Zion National Park, Utah in April last year with an auction result of USD 16,575.00 (€ 15,730.28).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Conrad Buff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Canyon Walls, Zion National Park, Utah im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.575,00 (€ 15.730,28).
