This artwork by Conor Harrington achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2020. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Monument Man - of Rubble and Ruin sold for GBP 18,125.00 (€ 20,126.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Conor Harrington have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Amour et La Violence, 2013 in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 75,062.50 (€ 83,350.50).
