The auction ended at the price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 42,929.51), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Clyde Singer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Rush Hour in May this year with an auction result of USD 216,400.00 (€ 203,116.20).

Die Arbeit On 14th Street von Clyde Singer wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 42.929,51) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Clyde Singer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Rush Hour im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 216.400,00 (€ 203.116,20).
