Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sea Air - The Pacific by Clyde Aspevig was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,376.00 (€ 4,959.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clyde Aspevig achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mesa Vista Moon Rise in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 53,661.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sea Air - The Pacific von Clyde Aspevig kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.376,00 (€ 4.959,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Clyde Aspevig erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mesa Vista Moon Rise im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 53.661,89).
