Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Middle of Winter by Clyde Aspevig was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. The price achieved of USD 19,125.00 (€ 18,150.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clyde Aspevig - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mesa Vista Moon Rise, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 62,500.00 (€ 53,661.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Middle of Winter von Clyde Aspevig wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 19.125,00 (€ 18.150,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Clyde Aspevig mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mesa Vista Moon Rise beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 62.500,00 (€ 53.661,89) versteigert wurde.
