Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Western Art, which included the work June Morning - Sedona 22 x 28 in. framed 31 1/2 x 38 1/2 in. by Clyde Aspevig. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,750.00 (€ 12,351.06). Admittedly, works by Clyde Aspevig have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mesa Vista Moon Rise in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 53,661.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit June Morning - Sedona 22 x 28 in. framed 31 1/2 x 38 1/2 in. von Clyde Aspevig zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.750,00 (€ 12.351,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Clyde Aspevig auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mesa Vista Moon Rise im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 53.661,89).
