Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Artcurial held the auction Limited Edition, which included the work Rouge + Jaune - 1998 by Claude Viallat. The price achieved of EUR 3,149.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Viallat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 75,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Limited Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rouge + Jaune - 1998 von Claude Viallat zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.149,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Viallat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.600,00.
