The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,231.90), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude T. Stanfield Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Houses of Parliament, Westminster in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 30,272.57).
