Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction Maritime & Naval Battles (Pictures), which included the work Shipping On The Thames Before The Tower of London by Claude T. Stanfield Moore. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,147.32). Other works by Claude T. Stanfield Moore have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 30,272.57) in June 2007 for the work Houses of Parliament, Westminster.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Maritime & Naval Battles (Pictures) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shipping On The Thames Before The Tower of London von Claude T. Stanfield Moore zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.147,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Claude T. Stanfield Moore haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 30.272,57) im Juni 2007 für die Arbeit Houses of Parliament, Westminster beobachtet.
