Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 480.00 (€ 694.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Lorraine Ferneley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A chestnut hunter with a roan pony and dog before a stable in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,800.00 (€ 15,892.93).
