Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Patti Smith, Paris 1976 by Claude Gassian was sold in the NOW! auction at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,268.00. Admittedly, works by Claude Gassian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Freddie Mercury, Paris 1984 in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 11,970.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Patti Smith, Paris 1976 von Claude Gassian wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion NOW! bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.268,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claude Gassian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Freddie Mercury, Paris 1984 im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.970,00.
