In March 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction NOW!, which included the work Mick Jagger, Keith Richards - Indio (CA) 2016 by Claude Gassian. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,772.00 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Claude Gassian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Freddie Mercury, Paris 1984 in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 11,970.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion NOW! durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mick Jagger, Keith Richards - Indio (CA) 2016 von Claude Gassian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.772,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claude Gassian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Freddie Mercury, Paris 1984 im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.970,00.
