Upper estimate price exceeded by 58 %.
In March 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction NOW!, which included the work Mick and Keith, Paris 1998 by Claude Gassian. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,450.00 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Claude Gassian; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Freddie Mercury, Paris 1984 sold at auction in March 2021 with the realized price of EUR 11,970.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion NOW! durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mick and Keith, Paris 1998 von Claude Gassian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.450,00 und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Claude Gassian; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Freddie Mercury, Paris 1984 im März 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 11.970,00.
