Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Claude Gassian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021. In the NOW! auction, the work David Bowie, Londres 1973 sold for EUR 4,032.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claude Gassian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Freddie Mercury, Paris 1984, which sold at auction in March 2021 for EUR 11,970.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Claude Gassian erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion NOW! wurde die Arbeit David Bowie, Londres 1973 für EUR 4.032,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Claude Gassian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Freddie Mercury, Paris 1984 beobachtet, die im März 2021 für EUR 11.970,00 versteigert wurde.
