It achieved a price of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,242.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Admittedly, works by Claude Cardon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calves and poultry by a farm in May 2004 with an auction result of GBP 7,170.00 (€ 10,757.64).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.242,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claude Cardon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calves and poultry by a farm im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.170,00 (€ 10.757,64).
