Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Speaker Looking Down by Clare Noel Shenstone was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,347.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clare Noel Shenstone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wax Head of Francis Bacon in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,179.17).

Die Arbeit The Speaker Looking Down von Clare Noel Shenstone kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.147,50 (€ 1.347,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Clare Noel Shenstone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wax Head of Francis Bacon im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.179,17).
