Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Interference by Claire Morgan was worth GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,677.13) to a buyer in April 2018. This price was achieved in the auction First Open Online at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Claire Morgan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Hanging Fog sold at auction in December 2019 with the realized price of EUR 21,250.00.
